Provide English for Health Sciences, professional development, and cultural adjustment support to medical administrators/educators from China during their scholarship exchange program sponsored by China Medical Board with the University of Washington Medical Education Department.

Provide a nine-month program with intensive instruction and guided experiences to give participants an understanding of the professional norms and expectations in health sciences in the U.S. Prepare participants so that they can take on increased responsibility within their medical schools and nationally in China. Facilitate long-term relationships with the UW Medical School faculty and adminstrators.

• Cultural enrichment such as visits to Mount Rainier National Park and Downtown Seattle
• Dinners and socials with faculty and mentors
• Assistance with daily living skills such as banking, housing, food, and telephones
