John Fredericksen, MBA
General Manager, Microsoft Services

Frederiksen is a General Manager at Microsoft and a 16 year veteran of the company. Prior to Microsoft he held technical positions at Novell and Raytheon. At Microsoft he has eight years of product management experience on Microsoft Exchange Server, Microsoft Windows Server, and Microsoft Windows. Additionally he has led the Microsoft.com organization and helped create a product management organization for the Microsoft Services Business. He is currently helping the company harvest internal innovation working in the Startup Business Acceleration Group incubating new products and business models for the company. His interests are in developing high performing teams and managing innovation in technology companies.

Gordon Gray
Project Manager, Factory System Integration The Boeing Commercial Airplane Company

Gray has led corporate initiatives related to management development, MRP application training, and manufacturing re-engineering as part of an end to end program of improvement of the Commercial Airplane programs at The Boeing Company. At Safeco Insurance he assisted IT application development groups with the delivery of their products and services from a network infrastructure perspective as a Technical Coordinator. At Getty Images in the Project Management Office, Gray managed the interaction between development, QA, and technical services in order to assure on-time delivery of products and services. Now back at Boeing, Gray is leading efforts to implement improved factory systems to support BCA manufacturing requirements. He has a B.A. in education from Central Washington University, a fifth-year education degree from University of Washington, and an M.S. in Project Management from City University.

Steve Markgraf
Management Best Practice Expert, Boeing Commercial Airplanes

Markgraf has more than 20 years of experience in program, project, and business management. As part of his current role with Boeing, he works with program management teams to establish the use of program management best practices conducts assessments of current programs, educates leaders on the use of best practices and works across the Boeing enterprise to update and establish best practices based on changing business needs. Markgraf has been working for Boeing since 1996. Prior to working for Boeing, Markgraf spent 13 years traveling to more than 50 countries while working as a supervisor and project manager on sub-sea diving operations. During this time he managed diverse project teams on sub-sea construction and inspection projects for multiple off-shore oil companies. Markgraf has a Master Degree in Technical Management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a Masters Certificate in Project Management from George Washington University and is qualified as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from PMI.

Markgraf is certified as a project management professional from the project management institute, has a master's certificate in project management from George Washington University, and has a master's degree in technical management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
