Lorelee Bauer, M.A.
Staffing and Diversity Manager, Puget Sound Energy

Bauer joined Puget Sound Energy in 2006; she and her staff are responsible for recruiting and "on boarding" staff to fill positions throughout the 2,600 person organization. Bauer has worked in human resources and training for a variety of employers and industries including: healthcare, banking, manufacturing, high tech, direct mail marketing, and chemical research. Her work has taken her to several communities throughout the states of California, Oregon, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma and Washington.

Judy Clark, CPC, SPHR
President, HR Northwest and HR Answers, Inc.

Clark serves as president of a human resource consulting firm, as well as president of a national human resource risk management firm with over 1,800 clients in 41 states. She has more than 25 years of human resource experience, and has taught the compensation course at UW Extension for 13 years. Clark is active in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Oregon Association of Management Consultants.

Linda Callecod
Partner and Senior Consultant, Seraphim Consulting

A training consultant specializing in organizational learning and team development, Callecod was formerly with the Effectiveness Institute. As divisional vice president for diversity and organizational learning at the Bon Marché, she founded and directed the Bon Marché Training Academy, a corporate university-style training and development program for managers and executives.

Maureen Ryan, J.D., SPHR
President, The Fairway Firm, Inc.

A private attorney specializing in both HR management and legal compliance (staffing, compensation, investigations and discipline, diversity, immigration and performance management), Ryan was an HR manager and compliance specialist with The Boeing Company. She has over twenty years experience as an attorney.

Giselle Sampson
Immediate Past President of the Seattle Chapter, Western Pension & Benefits Conference

Sampson managed the award-winning employee benefits program at Recreational Equipment Inc. for seven years. Prior to REI, she managed benefits at Havas Interactive and spent eleven years in benefits consulting with Mercer. Her experience and knowledge includes the design and development of health, life and disability plans, leave of absence administration, Workers Compensation, EAP, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, and employment branding.

Michael Walters, MBA
Senior HR Business Partner, Microsoft

Walters provides human resources leadership to the Entertainment and Devices division of Microsoft, where he supported the teams that launched Halo 3, Zune MP3 players, and consumer mobile experiences cumulatively responsible for approximately $1 billion in revenue. Before moving to Seattle, he served as the Western Regional HR Director for Nielsen Entertainment in Hollywood, CA. Walters has taught HR Management through UCLA Extension and has been a featured speaker at Human Resources Association conferences in Los Angeles, CA.
